At MEDILUX, your privacy is our priority.

Any personal information you provide (such as name, email, address, or payment details) will be used solely to process your orders, enhance your shopping experience, and communicate with you regarding our products and services.

We never sell your personal information. We share it only where it is needed: with delivery companies so your order reaches you, with payment processors, and, as described below, with Meta so we can measure our advertising.

Advertising and website measurement

We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. To understand which of our ads lead to orders, our website uses the Meta Pixel and Meta’s Conversions API. These record actions on this site, such as viewing a product, adding an item to the cart, starting checkout, and placing an order, together with the product and the order value, and send them to Meta Platforms, Inc.

When you place an order, we also send Meta a scrambled (hashed) version of your email address and phone number. Hashing turns them into a string of characters that cannot be read or reversed back into your details. Meta uses it only to check whether the order matches someone who saw one of our ads. We do not send Meta your name, address, or payment details, and we do not send the contents of any message you write to us.

This lets us measure our advertising and show our products to people who have already visited the shop. Meta may also use this data in line with its own Privacy Policy.

You can limit this at any time: turn off tracking or use private browsing in your browser, install a tracker blocker, or adjust your Facebook and Instagram advert settings under Settings, then Ads. Blocking it does not affect your ability to browse or order from us.

Your choices

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us through the contact page and we will respond.
